Mosaic Academy has housed its 180 K-8 students, faculty, and staff in six portable double classrooms for over a decade. Friends of Mosaic Academy began in August, 2012, with a goal to raise funds for the construction and equipping of a permanent public building for the school. The board was incorporated with the State of New Mexico in March, 2013, and was designated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS in August, 2014. Fundraising efforts have continued to expand, and we are well on our way to breaking ground on the new permanent facility. What are the next steps? • Raise remaining $20,000 due for pre-development services by July 31st.
