Mosaic Academy has housed its 180 K-8 students, faculty, and staff in six portable double classrooms for over a decade. Friends of Mosaic Academy began in August, 2012, with a goal to raise funds for the construction and equipping of a permanent public building for the school. The board was incorporated with the State of New Mexico in March, 2013, and was designated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS in August, 2014. Fundraising efforts have continued to expand, and we are well on our way to breaking ground on the new permanent facility.
